The beloved giraffes from the Spanish/Catalan company Xirriquiteula Teatre have been a regular part of the festival since 2007. A family of giraffes stroll through civilisation. Startled and disorientated, they interact with everything they encounter. Their curiosity leads them into situations that are as surreal as they are poetic. An elevated nonverbal production for audiences of all ages.

Xirriquiteula theater was born in Badalona, Barcelona, in 1985. Over the years we created and poduced both street and indoor shows always aimed at children. Each project has been handcrafted, taking care of the smallest detail to offer quality theater to our audience. Surrounding ourselves with good professional collaborators in each show, we have created most of them collectively, in a process of research, experimentation and improvisation, always very enriching for the growth of the company and our members.
