Come experience the festival opening on Friday the 29th of May

On Friday, May 29th at 3:30 PM is the official opening of Spring Festival, and we celebrate with a free program that includes speeches, Finnish modern circus and the children’s performance “Pind – Gren – Træ” created together by and with local school classes.

Before the weekend program begins, we let the jazz flow with our very own house orchestra, in addition to light refreshments for both young and old.

16:00 – 16:15: Opening speeches

Young Professionals are reporting from this years festival

This year’s festival will not only feature fantastic theatre, but also sharp and innovative journalism. In collaboration with journalist and children’s cultural mediator Franz M. H. Bomberg, a local school class will act as cultural journalists at this year’s festival.

Reviews of the many performances will be written, interviews will be conducted with the audience and reports will be made on all the exciting things happening at the festival site. So if you have a story, a problem or a quirky observation, look around for the team of young journalists. Maybe you can help point them in the direction of this year’s scoop?

Their stories can be experienced continuously as they are published – both hung up outside in the square and as video reports shown inside the foyer of Teater ZeBU.
